It’s important to plan out and organize printable wristbands so that you can quickly and easily give students the brag bracelets they’ve earned. This way your students will love getting their brag bracelets without stressing you out in the process.
Ways to Prepare Printable Wristbands
These brag bracelets are similar to brag tags but have an easier setup. Printable wristbands can take less time to prepare than brag tags. There are color and black & white versions. The color version can be printed on white paper. You can print the black & white version on brightly colored paper (from Amazon) to make them pop! Another option is to laminate them to keep them more sturdy. I recommend using white cardstock paper (from Amazon) or brightly colored cardstock paper (from Amazon) to keep them from ripping. Then cut the brag bracelets using a paper cutter (from Amazon).
Ideas to Store Printable Wristbands
You can keep the bracelets together by putting them in a document protector and keeping them in a binder. Or use a binder clip to group them to hang on a hook or put them in a bin.
How Teachers Can Use Printable Wristbands
You can have students wear the brag bracelets on their wrists by attaching them using a glue stick, staple, brads, or tape. You can also put the printable wristbands in your student’s planner or take-home folder since parents check these nightly. I’ve had my students either use a paper clip or glue it in the planner with the top of the brag bracelet sticking out so that parents would see it more easily.
Another option includes putting it on your students’ backpacks (JanSport from Amazon). Some kids want to collect their brag bracelets instead of wearing them. You can also punch a hole through it giving each child a ring to keep like charms. The printable wristbands should be theirs to keep! I think it’s important to keep it fun for students by allowing them to wear or display the bracelets in their way.
An additional bonus to using printable wristbands, while saving ink, is having your students color them. Most students would happily take a short break from academics and color their awards!
It’s important to introduce and set the ground rules for the positive bracelets. This will encourage students to work hard and make good choices to earn the brag bracelets.

There are both an ink-friendly and a color version. Reminder slips are easy to prepare and will save on paper by not printing on full or half sheets of paper. Print them on red or brightly colored paper. If you like the background of another bracelet and would like it in place of a bracelet, create a duplicate slide with the background you like, delete the text, and copy/paste the text and rectangle box of your choice.
